A Word from Our Chair
Omar Sandoval, Chair
Yamhill County Democrats
October 15, 2020
As we get closer and closer to the end of the election season (19 days!), I am amazed at the tremendous amount of positive energy in our community! We have connected with over 20,000 voters this season, thanks to our Neighborhood Leader Program and help from our partner organization, Progressive Yamhill.
Our local office hub (come see us at 1107 NE Baker Street in McMinnville!), our personal connections, our volunteer energy, and our commitment to restoring dialogue and decency in our community are driving what we hope will be a historic victory here in Yamhill County.
Ballots are now in the mail to voters. In our lifetimes, it has never been more important to vote. Can we count on you?
This season it is especially important to get your ballot in as early as you can, so fill out your ballot early and turn it in soon. Mail no later than October 27th, or better yet, drop off at a ballot drop box. You can track your ballot here.
And finally, encourage your friends and family to do the same. We’re all in this together, and we need to vote as if our lives depend upon it. Because they do.
Please VOTE.

2020 is the most important election cycle of our lifetime. It will not only decide our President and government for the next four years but the moral compass of our country. This is the time to act, make our voices heard, and set our community on the right path.
When it comes to this cycle, we must change how we view it. November 3rd may be election day, but it is not the election - it only ends then. We have until then to act. Join me in taking our community, and our country back.
